YOGA CLASSES ARE NOW ONLINE!
I began my yoga journey in 1995 studying Iyengar and I've since practiced various styles (off and on) over the years. I've also attended workshops with Kino MacGregor, Tim Feldman, David Swenson and Laura Burkhart. I completed my one-year teacher training course in 2019. Now, my personal practice is Ashtanga Vinyasa and Vinyasa Flow.
But, really, yoga is just yoga. I've come to realise that this wonderful flowing meditation is so much more than asanas.
See you on the mat!
As well as teaching yoga, Monica writes about health & wellness too. Her features about the benefits of Seated Yoga (she teaches this gentle practice at a residential unit) have appeared in the national press.
"A fabulous article. Thanks so much for giving credit to the British Wheel of Yoga."

VINYASA 'SLOW' is a beginner’s friendly version of Vinyasa Flow. In Vinyasa 'Slow' you will have time to find your way into the postures whatever your ability. The class will help you to stretch, connect with your breath and find inner calm in a safe space.
As the weeks progress, you will develop a solid foundation in your yoga practice. In turn, you will improve stamina, strength and flexibility.
Vinyasa Flow is a flowing practice where all postures are linked together with focus on the breath.
SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS
ASHTANGA 'FLOW' is a dynamic flowing practice that's based on the Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series. Focus in these sessions will be on safe alignment, breath, drishti and bandha.
Unlike traditional classes, we'll be veering off piste to work on additional postures to help widen your yoga knowledge. We'll also be exploring pranayama (breath work), mudras (hand gestures) and meditation.
A foundation in Vinyasa Flow can be helpful for starting Ashtanga 'Flow'. However, if you're fit and healthy then there's no reason why you shouldn't jump in at the deep end.
SUITABLE FOR INTERMEDIATE.
Classes to start soon.
